First Edition Planned on the Allier River in 2026
A Will to Take Action
For several years, Brakass Adventure has been deeply connected to aquatic environments through fishing, field observation, and video production.
Over time, one reality has become increasingly clear: pollution is still present in our rivers and along their banks, even in areas that are considered preserved.
Faced with this, a question naturally emerged: how can we go beyond simply observing and start taking meaningful, concrete action on the ground?
This is how the “Porcherie” project was born.

A Field-Based Initiative
The “Porcherie” project aims to organize river clean-up operations based on real, hands-on actions in the field.
A first edition could take place in 2026 on the Allier River, between Châtel-de-Neuvre and Moulins, covering approximately 20 kilometers.
The idea is simple: travel down this stretch by canoe, collecting waste from both the riverbed and the banks, while respecting the natural environment.
This initiative would be carefully planned and supervised to ensure safety, consistency, and effectiveness.

A Collective and Educational Approach
This project goes beyond simple clean-up efforts.
It would also include a strong educational dimension, involving a class from the Neuvy Agricultural High School, alongside volunteers and local stakeholders.
The goal is to expose participants to real field conditions, help them better understand environmental challenges, and encourage long-term awareness.
A Locally Anchored Project
To ensure relevance and environmental responsibility, the project would be developed in collaboration with local authorities, environmental organizations, and public institutions.
This could include partnerships with environmental bodies, public services, and the fishing community, all of whom are directly concerned with the health of aquatic ecosystems.

A Structured and Safe Operation
The event would be supervised by experienced adults, educators, and local canoeing professionals.
Safety would be a priority, with proper equipment, clear briefings, and emergency support in place.
Measuring Impact
Collected waste would be sorted and properly disposed of.
The operation could also include measuring and analyzing the types of waste found, helping to better understand the sources of pollution.

Raising Awareness Beyond the Event
The project would be documented through video, allowing the action to reach a wider audience.
A screening could be organized at the end of the day, creating a moment of exchange between participants, partners, and the public.
A First Step Toward a Broader Vision
This first edition would mark the beginning of a larger initiative.
In the future, the “Porcherie” project could be replicated on other rivers across France, building a network of local actions based on the same principle: taking concrete action in the field.

A Clear Intention
“Porcherie” does not claim to solve pollution issues entirely.
It is simply about doing our part — taking action, raising awareness, and building a collective dynamic around river preservation.
From observation to action.
